Another Tragic Crime
Today, Charles Carl Roberts IV, another in a long line of armed cowardly North American lunatics, went on a shooting rampage in a one-classroom Amish school in Pennsylvania. He killed at least 6 people*, and 3 more are in critical condition. Reports say he targeted only the female children, all in Grades 1-8, who were tied and bound after he ordered all the boys out of the school.

I'm sorry K-Dough... I guess the truth is his soul obviously hurt too... be nice if gun-toting nutbars would off themselves and just leave the innocents alone.
It's sad but true that I long for the days of black and white TV sometimes. 2 channels, and nothing on.
Just the sound of my dear mum telling me to get outside and play.
Those were the days... and there weren't nearly as many children killing children.
I hear you JC. But with mass media and aging, innocence is pulverized. Would that it were not that way.
I'm sending a shout out to all your gods today, people, for the safety of your children and your sweet selves.
Whenever these things happen, I think of this site and my blood runs cold.

I hate to think what a horrific event like this says about the state of N. American society. Sometimes it is hard to be optimistic...
Given the general state of despair, I could think of no other response than the response of Gandhi:
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
The strongest attribute I am able to muster is closer to acceptance. Then, of course, that is replaced by the confusing urge to want to repeatedly punch that fucker's corpse.
I am no Gandhi.
