Check out the new blog and voting page (click here) of Fair Ground, the new Canadian rock band feat. guitarists Mike Turner (former Our Lady Peace) and Pete Lesperance (Rubber/Harem Scarem) will be blogging daily - for the next few weeks only - about life in the music industry. I'm overworked and depressed...help me. I facilitated a table of business people at the Board Of Trade yesterday; when it was one woman's turn to speak about her company, two guys started their own conversation. I snapped their heads off, and the tension was palpable for the rest of the event. He glared at me. I glared back. I was two feet taller than him, so he decided to leave. Not a good day. My "most affable guy on the planet" label has been tarnished. I am outside my body. I will have two beers with my lunch.
Ah, leather. My condolences, buddy. If it helps, I'm having a shit week from hell, too. I've decided to just stay busy and shut my mouth because I have nothing nice to say. It's very unlike me. Beer for lunch sounds wonderful.
