K-Dough Wins Major Award!

Class, please... Ahem. Class! Thank you. Good morning. Please listen carefully, because I have some delightful news.

It has come to my attention that Popular Doctrine, "a project in political discourse; a place where a socialist and a conservative debate the day's issues" has listed this blog in their top 10 political blogs post.

No solicitation. No fake voting. Just some recognition by a friendly communist comrade for my tireless efforts to make the e-world a better place and to fiercely battle in my personal crusade against partisan stupidship.
Check it out: The Best Political Blogs- View From the Left.

Now, I suggest you spend the rest of your day reflecting on your love for me, which I will also be doing.

Congrats K.
So you want me to reflect on my love for you, I would but it seems I might be getting a cold since all the signs are there and right now any kind of thinking hearts my head but I still like you;)

Djembe-boy: Thanks for the kind words... I went out at lunch and bought a plastic tiara on Yonge Street and am now wearing it around the office/dungeon like Ms. America. Um, Canada.

Hey, like every day ... you're in my heart, you're in my soul, you'll be [my friend until] I grow old.
I didn't know what day it was ... [when] ... I took all those habits of yours, which in the beginning were hard to accept.
My love for you is immeasurable, my respect for you immense ... You're an essay in glamour, please pardon the grammar ... [as] ... I bite my lip and turn around, 'cause you're the warmest thing I ever found!

Love,
Govinda

Oh... You said build an "effigy to worship you". I thought you said "burn an effigy of you"

... silly me.

Yeah, Georgie's sucking hindtit today. It could be worse though. Could be his brother Jeb.

Hillary for El Presidente!!!

Google is gay... and anyone who owns their stock deserves what they get.

What the hell is Google anyway... nothing!! Nothing but a bunch of servers, programer, and desktops contected by networks.

Give me an Oil well, or a gold mine any day of the week... if you can't roll around in it, don't buy it.

Not very nice Joe Calgary. Not very nice indeed. I may have to have some of my network server colleagues arrange for a little accident to befall your company...

Joe? Are you there Joe. It's me Hal.

K-Dough,

In terms of your inevitable blogstar career, you are right now at the point where Madonna was after having just performed "Like a Virgin" on the 1984 MTV Music Awards: boldly and irreverantly trampling on antiquated norms, pushing the envelope with groundbreaking artistry- and the raw talent to pull it off! literally, with MTV, in the "face" of the entrenched "standards" of the day.

K-Dough's Canada! your content is at once poignant in all it's flavours, from earnest and serious to humorous and farcical: it's often keenly distressing to the feelings, other times strong in it's mental appeal. It's always affecting or moving our emotions (whether we comment or not).
Really, the only thing not poignant about K-Dough's Canada! is that it's not pungent to the smell!

"Don't fret he's strong
and he'll make a stand,
Against evil the fire
that spreads through the land,
He has the power
to make it all end."

Oh, and while you're at it, a reach around is only common courtesy you know.

25 years in technology, software, and communications... grasshopper, nothing surprises me when it comes to IT, and the importance programmers place upon themselves.

If only their production timelines equalled their ego's... life would be bliss.

Don't worry KD, I'm about as unoriginal as it gets out there...

I was trying to provide pros and cons, and as you pointed out I made my own error with the reference to Khan when in fact it was the min wage I was thinking of.
